They replace the solid pieces (that surround your fog lights) supplied by the factory. With the factory pieces in place your engine is breathing hot air from under the hood. Our screens allow fresh air to enter the area which houses the air cleaner assembly, thus creating a ram air effect.  Allowing cool air into the air intake will substantially increase your performance.
