LS-1 Harmonic Balancer/Under Drive Pulley

Looking to obtain even more power from your LS1 engine, then SLP's new smaller diameter harmonic balancer/under drive pulley is just what you need. It not only helps your engine produce another 10 horsepower, it also improves your engine's ability to accelerate faster, because of the balancer/pulley's reduced diameter and weight. This will effectively create a flywheel-effect weight reduction of approximately seven pounds. SLP's new balancer/pulley helps improve the durability of your power steering pump, alternator and air conditioning compressor by slowing them down approximately 25%. It increases fuel economy as well. SLP's balancer/pulley is manufactured using the same material and design criteria as the factory Camaro/Firebird balancer, and features a cast-iron inertia ring with a ductile iron hub, unlike other aftermarket LS1 balancer/pulleys that use an aluminum hub. A new-GM LS1 attachment bolt and detailed installation instructions are included with each balancer/pulley. For off-road use only.
